Beautiful four bedroom, three bathroom gite in the Charente Maritime sleeping up to ten. Very large swimming pool (15 metres by eight metres with diving board) and sun terrace. Four bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms, one of those being on the ground floor.

The gite was completed in June 2012. A plan is available. Everything is brand new with full insulation (important in the hot summers), new bathrooms and kitchens from the UK and laminate flooring, slate laminate in the kitchen and bathrooms, and cherry everywhere else. 

The gite is wired for internet and multi-media, and there is a hard drive with 250 plus films and 33,000 songs which are streamed to both of the ultra-thin TVs with sound bars. In the upstairs rumpus room there is also a Wii. Internet is also available wirelessly. If you bring your own PCs and DVDs then these can be plugged in and played as well.

There is a log burner there for chilly evenings and the whole gite is centrally heated in the winter.

There are lovely south facing views from all the bedrooms and reception rooms over rolling countryside with sunflowers, vines, wheat and corn. The gite has a private garden and BBQ area and plenty of parking.

Set in 6 acres of garden sloping down to our own lake, our two gites which are the old stables are being totally refurbished in 2011/12 and ready for Spring half term 2012.  We have a huge 15m by 8m heated pool and loads of garden for playing in.  We are in the Charente Maritime, 40 minutes from La Rochelle, 30 minutes from the nearest beach which is good because the Charente Maritime is the second sunniest region in France after the Cote d'Azur.  We are surrounded by fields, some sunflowers and some wheat.  the gites have their own private gardens and BBQ areas which face South.  As we are renovating them at the moment there are only photos however if you have stayed at Windrush or Exmouth House before you will know what our standards are like.  They will have fully fitted kitchens, cosy lounges, plenty of dining space both inside and out and modern hi specification bathrooms.  We look forward to welcoming you.
